Privacy Policy
How Enermax Resources collects, uses and protects your information.
This document applies to all websites, apps, automation systems and digital services built or operated by Enermax Resources (Reg. No. 001990554-V) ("we", "us"), including apps connected to third-party platforms such as Facebook, Messenger, Instagram, WhatsApp (including the WhatsApp Business Platform / Cloud API), Telegram and Google (collectively, the "Services").
Data we collect
- Information you provide: your name, email, phone number or messages when you contact us or use a form.
- Data from third-party platforms: when you log in or interact through platforms such as Facebook, we receive the data you authorise, for example your profile name and ID and the Pages or accounts you manage. For business Pages managed through our Services, we also process public comments and messages (sender name, ID, text and time).
- WhatsApp Business: for businesses using the WhatsApp Business Platform (Cloud API) through our Services, we process WhatsApp phone numbers, profile names, message content (text and media), delivery status, and opt-in and opt-out records.
- Instagram and Messenger: usernames, IDs, comments and messages sent to business accounts managed through our Services.
- Client content: reference documents, images and business settings uploaded by clients or administrators.
- Technical data: basic server logs (IP address, browser type, time) for security and troubleshooting.
How we use data
- To provide and run the Services, including replying to comments or messages, publishing approved content and preparing reports.
- To verify identity and control user access.
- To contact you about the Services or your enquiry.
- To improve system security and performance.
We do not sell personal data and do not use it for third-party advertising.
WhatsApp Business
- When we manage WhatsApp Business on behalf of a business client, that client is the data controller and we process data only on their instructions.
- Messages are sent only to people who have opted in to receive messages from that business. Business-initiated messages use templates approved by Meta.
- You can stop receiving messages at any time by replying "STOP". Opt-out requests are recorded and honoured.
- WhatsApp data is used only to communicate with you on behalf of that business and is not shared for any other purpose.
- We comply with the WhatsApp Business Terms, WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy and WhatsApp Commerce Policy.
Third-party processors
Some Services rely on external providers, such as AI providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google), server hosting and notification services (Telegram). Data is shared with them only as far as needed for that purpose and is subject to their own privacy policies.
Storage and security
Data is stored on servers we control. Access tokens and sensitive information are stored encrypted. Data is kept only as long as needed for the Services. For example, social media comments and WhatsApp messages are deleted automatically after 90 days, unless a business client needs to keep them longer for legitimate records. Opt-out records are kept as long as needed to honour your request.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of or deletion of your data at any time, in line with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010. See the Data Deletion Instructions.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The last updated date is shown at the top of this page.
